"Playing up" The Team Utah policy
is that all players will play with the youngest age
group they are eligible for, but if skill level,
player size, the variants of specific
tournaments attending, or actual team size or number of
players signed up for a tournament warrant...
then if both younger and next level up coaches
agree and the players parents or guardians agree, the
player is permitted to play-up.
Players are required to submit a
copy of their birth certificate with their application
at tryouts.
The Team name
"Under - 19 " reflects the status of every team member
on Dec 31 of the year preceding the spring
season.
For this
year every member of the U-19 team must be under 18 on
Dec 31, 2008.
The U-19
= Birth years that meet this criteria are 1990 and
1991.
U-17
= Birth years 92 & 93. Under US
Lacrosse rules High School Freshmen are not permitted to
play on U-15 teams regardless of their birth
